Roger Mitchell, the director of Notting Hill, passed away this week at the age of 65 and now one of the stars of the film, Julia Roberts, is paying tribute.
Notting Hill is a 1999 romantic drama starring Julia and Hugh Grant where a superstar actress from the US falls in love with a bookstore owner in England.

Julia told E! News that Roger was “such a kind and gentle man. He always had a sweet grin on his face and a perfect piece of direction to share. I feel so fortunate to have had such a fantastic opportunity to work with him.”
She also sent condolences to his children, Harry, Rosie, Maggie and Sparrow, “the true lights of his life.”
